Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia admitted recently that they thought of leaving the Philippines after the controversial shutdown of ABS-CBN.
KAMI learned that the prominent couple made the revelation when they were interviewed by Luchi Cruz-Valdes for her program entitled “Usapang Real Life.”
The singer/actor initially stated that the closure of the giant network starting May 5 has become a dark period for celebrities and its employees.
Billy also disclosed that he was already planning to sell his properties in the Philippines and just go abroad to earn money.
“Wala eh, I didn’t have a job. You know what I’m saying? And if I did, it wasn’t really sustainable. I couldn’t sustain my family,” he quipped.
“It was a lot of depressing moments,” he added.
The former “It’s Showtime” host also mentioned that Brightlight Productions has been his “saving grace” since the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
Because of the said company, he was able to accept projects from another network amid the on-going health crisis.
Billy Crawford is a popular actor and singer in the Philippines. He is currently serving as the host of several TV5 shows such as “The Masked Singer” and “Lunch Out Loud.”
