Miss Philippines Roberta Tamondong recently brought pride to the country after clinching the Miss Eco Teen International 2020 title.
The country’s bet was crowned on Sunday, December 6, following the pageant’s coronation ceremony held in Hurghada, Egypt.

Aside from the title, Tamondong also bagged several awards in the pageant’s pre-activities such as the Best Eco Dress Prime, 1st runner-up in Resort Wear, and 2nd runner-up in the talent portion.
“And, Last night was the sweetest! With all the hard works and preparations, despite the pandemic and all the safety and travel protocols.PHILIPPINES, WE MADE IT!” the beauty queen posted on Instagram. “We are crowned Ms.Eco Teen International 2020.”

The first runner-up of the pageant, on the other hand, was South Africa's Jordan van Rensburg, followed by Netherlands' Danielle Dolk, Egypt's Kenzy Elzeiny, and Paraguay's Cecilia Romero as second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Roberta "Ro-An" Tamondong is a beauty queen from Laguna. She is the first candidate from the Philippines to win the title.
In a previous report by KAMI, Lindsey Coffey of the United States was recently crowned as Miss Earth 2020 while, Roxanne Baeyens, the Philippines bet, was named as this year’s Miss Earth Water.
Baeyens then expressed gratitude to the pageant's organization for letting her and fellow contestants speak up about their environmental advocacies, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic.
