Former GMA Network host and anchor Rhea Santos made Filipinos proud as she revealed that she is now a news anchor in Canada.

KAMI learned that Rhea is now a news anchor for OMNI News Filipino Edition in Canada.

In an Instagram post, the former Kapuso host revealed that she is still able to do her passion for telling stories to her “kababayan” even though she is abroad.

“Marking this day that I’m able to do my passion to tell stories that matter to my ‘kababayan’ here in Canada,” Rhea said.

In a different post, Rhea also said that the news team she is now part of has shown “strong commitment” to inclusion and diversity.

Her show aims to promote the multicultural community of Canada through a Filipino news broadcast.

Rhea Santos is a famous news reporter in the Philippines. She used to be a host in GMA Network's morning show Unang Hirit and Reporter’s Notebook.
