John Regala went viral due to a controversy involving the former’s celebrity friends – Chuckie Dreyfus, Nadia Montenegro, and Aster Amoyo

His three celebrity friends recently announced that they have decided to no longer provide assistance to John, who has liver cirrhosis, due to the latter’s uncooperative behavior regarding his medical treatment.

He explained to Raffy Tulfo that the reason he wanted to leave the hospital even if the doctors wanted him to stay was that the hospital bill kept on increasing every day.

Furthermore, John explained that his celebrity friends have misinterpreted his behavior towards them.

John revealed that he also decided to leave the hospital because he felt that the assistance he has received from his celebrity friends is more than enough already and he did not want to abuse their kindness towards him.

“Nahihiya po ako na dahil na hindi ko po naging ugali na umabuso ng tao. Tama na po yung minsan akong tulungan.

“Yung sinasabi nila Chuckie, Nadia, at Aster na uncooperative ako, nalulungkot ako dahil na-misinterpret nila yung damdamin ko bilang isang tao na talagang nakakahiya po talaga.

“Ayaw ko naman po na dumating tayo sa point na pag-sawaan tayong tulungan ng tao,” Regala told Tulfo.

John Regala, or John Paul Guido Boucher Scherrer in real life, is a former actor in the Philippines. He is known for portraying antagonist roles in many movies.

In March this year, he appealed for help from Coco Martin and television networks.

The former action star also asked the public for any kind of assistance amid the difficult situation that he is in. John Regala also told Raffy Tulfo that his family allegedly left him behind due to his health and financial issues.
