KAMI learned that in an Instagram post, the veteran actress recently reacted to a claim that Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) officials pocketed over P15 billion from the agency’s funds.

After realizing that her post garnered bashings, she wrote:

“#mypost d nagets, nagalets dds.

In a separated post, Rita addressed the bashers’ argument on actors and actresses like her who voice out their opinions on the current issues.

She also penned a lengthy caption that reads:

I am almost always careful of my words when I post but nothing can make them understand. Yung “sana mabulag nga kayo” na sinabi ko, it was a kind of language used by many leaders now, a language that turns out as a joke or emotional burst. Many agreed with me but the dds got mad as usual. Paano pa kaya tayo who are the regular recipients of the jokes and emotional bursts?
They claim na puro “reklamo” ang mga tao against the govt.
DDS, noon I was charmed by the Pres during the campaign. Now, I simply say thank u pag may maayos syang nagawa. In one of my posts, I humbly asked for his empathy. My husband is pro. Kaaway nya mga kapatid nya. I have friends na pro, but we never fought. Think before leaving comments. Again, d magandang combination ang bulag, tanga, masama ugali. TRIPLE WHAMMIES. Hindi kayo yan. Ayaw nyo yan.
PILIPINO TAYO. KAYA PA.
