Suga biography
Suga was born on 9th March 1993 in Daegu, South Korea. His real name is Min Yoongi. Not much information has been disclosed about the rapper’s family other than he has an older brother. His family struggled in the past due to their poverty.
Min attended the Taejeon Elementary School, Gwaneum Middle School, Apgujeong High School, and Global Cyber University. He majored in Broadcasting Performing Art while in the university.
Career
Although he wanted to be an architect while young, Min also showed interest in music. He began to rap and compose songs at the age of 13. These are songs like Stony Skunks and Epik High’s Fly that influenced Min to have a liking of the hip-pop genre.
At the age of 17, he began to work part-time in a recording studio. This experience gave him exposure, and he learned how to compose and record songs. He started his music career with a group called D-Town before the formation of BTS.
