According to a report by GMA Integrated News, body camera footage captured the moment police responded to a concerned citizen's call around 11:00 p.m., GMA News reported.

The caller reported two children wandering alone in a parking area. Officers later discovered an infant and a toddler crying inside a nearby vehicle.

A witness said she saw the two older kids roaming the parking lot and followed them to a car, where she found the younger children. Concerned for their safety, she called the police.

Officers searched for the children's parents and eventually learned that the four kids had different mothers.

One woman, dressed for a night out, arrived first and claimed she had just gone to the restroom.

However, police were skeptical, pointing out they had been at the scene for 45 minutes.

Shortly after, the second mother arrived and gave the same excuse. When an officer asked how long she had been away, she answered “15 minutes.”

The officer immediately responded, “We’ve been staying here with these kids for over 45 minutes by themselves,” exposing the lie.

Eventually, one of the women admitted they had gone into a bar—not just to use the restroom, but also to drink—leaving the children alone and unsupervised.

Both women were arrested and taken to the precinct for child endangerment.
