South Korean YouTuber Na Donghyun, widely recognized by his channel name The Great Library (also known as Daedoseogwan or Daedo), has passed away at the age of 46.

His sudden death has shocked fans and the online community, particularly those who have followed his long career as one of South Korea’s pioneering internet streamers.
According to a report by Harold Corp, the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station confirmed that Na was found dead at his residence in Gwangjin District at around 8:40 AM on September 6, 2025 (KST). Authorities said that emergency responders and police discovered him after receiving a report from an acquaintance. The acquaintance had arranged to meet Na but became concerned when he did not show up and could no longer be reached, prompting them to contact the police.
Police further stated that no note or signs of foul play were discovered at the scene. This initially left the circumstances of his passing unclear.

In an updated report from YTN, a police official shared more details, saying, “It is presumed that Na Donghyun died from an underlying illness,” and added, “We plan to confirm the exact cause of death through an autopsy.”
According to Koreaboo, Na was widely regarded as one of the most successful first-generation internet streamers, paving the way for future content creators in South Korea. He built a loyal following on YouTube with more than 1.44 million subscribers. His channel became a hub for gaming, lifestyle content, and live interaction, earning him respect among peers and recognition in the broader entertainment scene.
Beyond online streaming, Na also gained visibility through mainstream appearances, including his participation in the Netflix show The Influencer. Most recently, he was seen attending the 2026 Spring/Summer Seoul Fashion Week show at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) on September 4, just two days before his passing.
Na Donghyun is not the only foreign figure to have passed away recently, as reports of other international personalities’ deaths have also surfaced.
