To his surprise as shared in the same report, the victim's son found his mother in a bushy area being wrapped by a python snake.
Together with some of their neighbors, they all tried to help the victim but it was too late.
Because of extreme anger, the residents of the area hacked the python to death.
Meanwhile, authorities warned the residents to be extra careful because a large group of pythons is lurking within the forests of Indonesia.
Pythons are large constrictor snakes that typically avoid humans and are not naturally aggressive toward people. In most cases, they only attack when they feel threatened or cornered.
While extremely rare, there have been recorded incidents of pythons attacking and even killing humans, especially in areas where large species like the reticulated python or African rock python are found. These snakes kill by wrapping around their prey and suffocating them, usually targeting animals they can easily swallow.
However, such cases involving humans are unusual and not considered typical python behavior.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
