French streamer Jean Pormanove, whose real name was Raphaël Graven, has died at the age of 46, according to multiple reports.

French newspaper Le Parisien reported that the Nice prosecutor’s office confirmed the death of a man in a rented room used for livestreaming on Monday, August 18. Graven’s fellow streamer Owen Cenazandotti later identified the deceased as Pormanove in a post shared on Instagram.
“At this stage, there is nothing suspicious, interviews are underway, and an autopsy will be performed,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement to Le Parisien in French, noting that an investigation has been opened into the circumstances surrounding the content creator’s passing.

The report added that, prior to the police confirmation, a video circulated online allegedly showing a livestream in which a man resembling Pormanove appeared motionless and unresponsive to attempts by others to reach him.
Cenazandotti, who had collaborated with Pormanove for several years, expressed his grief in a translated post shared to Instagram Stories: “I ask you all to respect his memory and not share the video of his last breath in his sleep,” he wrote. “My brother, my sidekick, my partner, six years side by side, without ever letting go, I love you, my brother, and we will miss you terribly.”
Pormanove built a strong following across multiple platforms, amassing more than 500,000 followers combined on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. As noted by PEOPLE magazine, he was best known for his gaming content as well as extreme challenges that drew widespread attention from fans in France and beyond.
Pormanove is not the only foreign figure to have passed away recently, as reports of other international personalities’ deaths have also surfaced.
