Ricci Rivero believes Andrea Brillantes is “the one”; explains viral proposal

Andrea Brillantes’ boyfriend, Ricci Rivero, was interviewed on Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel.

During the said interview, Boy asked Ricci if he thinks that Andrea is “the one” and the basketball star replied in the affirmative.

“I think, tito Boy, yes,” Ricci answered.

Furthermore, Ricci recalled why he decided to ask Andrea to become his girlfriend during the halftime of his UAAP basketball game months ago.

According to Ricci, he made the proposal public so that Andrea would feel special and that she would know how proud he is of being in love with her.

“Siguro sa akin, ‘yung gusto ko lang ding mapa-feel do’n sa tao na proud ka.

“Hindi naman mabigat pero sobra ‘yung mixed emotions ko nung time na ‘yon. Grabe ‘yung kaba and ‘yung excitement pero ang nangingibabaw lang talaga is buo na ‘yung loob ko na gagawin ko siya no matter what,” he explained.

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”

As previously reported by KAMI, Andrea Brillantes took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her boyfriend, Ricci Rivero. The latter gave her some cute gifts, which she apparently appreciated a lot. Moreover, the young actress even shared a lovely photo of Ricci's present.

Meanwhile, Andrea received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Vice President Leni Robredo. Not only did she receive flowers but also got some fruits and a handwritten letter from the VP. The 19-year-old Kapamilya actress then took this to Instagram and shared some pictures of the gifts she received.
