Some investors recently filed a complaint against Terrence Romeo after the professional basketball player was involved in an alleged poultry business investment scam.
As per Emil Sumangil’s "24 Oras" report, one of the complainants, alias Marco, said he invested in P10 million in the poultry business, allegedly promoted by the PBA star, with a guarantee that it would grow 25% every month.

“Kami ay siyempre agad na nagtiwala dahil star-studded at the same time star player, ‘yun ang pinakapinanghawakan namin,” said Marco who also reported seeing Terrence at the business' farm tours and promotional events.

Marco also showed Emil a bounced check worth at least P8 million with the name "Terrence Bill V. Romeo" printed on it.
Moreover, another investor named “Barbie” from a group of teachers narrated, “Una, pinakita po sa amin yung farm, pangalawa mineeting po kami.
“Nagkakaroon ng iba’t ibang dahilan kaya lang po dumating na po talaga sa point na wala ng maibigay,” said Barbie who also claimed she invested P50,000 in the said venture but her fellow teachers chipped in for a total amount of P2 million.
