- The investors already filed a complaint against Terrence with the National Bureau of Investigation

Some investors recently filed a complaint against Terrence Romeo after the professional basketball player was involved in an alleged poultry business investment scam.

As per Emil Sumangil’s "24 Oras" report, one of the complainants, alias Marco, said he invested in P10 million in the poultry business, allegedly promoted by the PBA star, with a guarantee that it would grow 25% every month.

“Bibili ka ng chicks at ‘yung chicks na ‘yun sila ang magpapalago sa farm nila then meron kang makukuha na dibidendo every month. Noong mga unang buwan okay po sila pero noong tumagal, nagkaroon po ng delays,” Marco told Emil.

“Kami ay siyempre agad na nagtiwala dahil star-studded at the same time star player, ‘yun ang pinakapinanghawakan namin,” said Marco who also reported seeing Terrence at the business' farm tours and promotional events.

Marco also showed Emil a bounced check worth at least P8 million with the name "Terrence Bill V. Romeo" printed on it.

Moreover, another investor named “Barbie” from a group of teachers narrated, “Una, pinakita po sa amin yung farm, pangalawa mineeting po kami. Ayun, pinakilala sa amin si Terrence Romeo din tapos nagpakita ng mga pictures, ganyan, tapos ‘yung mga nag-invest.”

“Nagkakaroon ng iba’t ibang dahilan kaya lang po dumating na po talaga sa point na wala ng maibigay,” said Barbie who also claimed she invested P50,000 in the said venture but her fellow teachers chipped in for a total amount of P2 million.

“Kahit ibalik lang po ‘yung kapital ng mga tao. ‘Yun lang naman po ‘yung inaano ko sa kanila para hindi magkaroon ng siraan, hindi magkaroon ng problema. ‘Yun po, kasi nagtiwala po kami e,” Barbie tearfully said.

Terrence Romeo was first known as a star player at Far Eastern University. In 2013, he was the 5th pick on the overall draft. San Miguel Beermen player used to play for PBA team GlobalPort and the Philippine national team, Gilas Pilipinas.

Previously, Nay Cristy claimed that Terrence and Pia have already broken up. Nay Cristy also said she pities Terrence's alleged wife for loving the PBA star so much.
