Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, once again reacted to Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez’s alleged financial problem.

As per the veteran showbiz columnist, the celebrity couple ran out of savings because of the actor’s political ambition.
“Papano naman, said na said ang kanilang ipon. Dahil nga doon sa nangyari na pagtatangkang pumasok sa pulika nitong si Tom. Namuhunan na agad ng ilang milyones e hindi pa nga dumadaan sa Comelec 'yung party-list. Anyare? Wala bump-off sila.”
"Kaya pala itong si Carla, Nay, binebenta 'yung condominium niya," Cristy’s co-host, Romel Chika, said.

To which Nanay Cristy replied, “Oo, palugi na. Parang palugi... Parang kung papano na lang daw yatang binili, ganu'n na lang. Kumbaga, wala nang dagdag. E nagtaasan na ang lahat ng bilihin e, palugi, parang ganu'n. Palugi, para lang makabangon, makabawi.”

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She is now married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors at De La Salle University with a degree in psychology. She gained prominence for playing the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela "Rosalinda."
Carla posted on social media a photo of a meal she recently had. The 35-year-old actress also wrote a caption showing appreciation to her kasambahay and the latter’s significant other. Carla said the two have been taking extra good care of her lately. The gorgeous Kapuso star furthermore expressed being so grateful to them.
