She shared that this has been happening since the passing of her husband, Jesse, and that the moth showed up again during Aiko’s wedding reception, from start to finish. “Since Jesse left us 13 years ago, a brown moth, almost always, suddenly appears during birthdays, anniversaries, important family events, and never leaves until the day is over. Last night, at the wedding reception, he was there again, from start to finish.”

Leni Robredo’s husband, Jesse Robredo, was a former Interior Secretary and a respected public servant. He died in a plane crash in August 2012 while on his way to Naga City. Since his passing, Robredo has often shared stories about signs she believes remind her family of Jesse’s presence, especially during meaningful occasions.
