Risa Hontiveros shares adorable post as Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, Akbayan poised to win polls

- Sen. Risa Hontiveros dropped an adorable post as the nation monitors the 2025 poll results

- The current senator expressed her delight as Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan are both poised to win in the senatorial race

Sen. Risa Hontiveros has taken to social media to express her delight over the 2025 midterm elections' partial and unofficial results.

In her post on Tuesday, May 13, Hontiveros shared a colorful art card showing images of her,  Kiko Pangilinan, Bam Aquino, and Akbayan Citizens’ Action Party’s first nominee, Chel Diokno.

“We did it, Mga Kaibigan,” the text on the social media card reads.

Along with the art card, Hontiveros penned an adorable caption as Aquino, Pangilinan, and Akbayan are all set to win the recent polls.

“Makikita mo tapos ma-iimagine mo, SAKSES KA EH! Bigla kang sumakses eh!?!”

“Talagang istep by the step bago sumakses,” she blissfully wrote.

“Congratulations sa ating mga kaibigan @kiko.pangilinan @bamaquino @51akbayanpartylist’s @cheldiokno sa napakasayang panalong ito!”

Based on the partial results, Aquino and Pangilinan are poised to make a successful Senate comeback.

Diokno, on the other hand, is finally set to join Congress as Akbayan leads the party-list race.

In another post, Hontiveros expressed excitement over Aquino and Bam joining her in the Senate.

Ana Theresia "Risa" Navarro Hontiveros-Baraquel is a Filipino politician, journalist, and community leader. She was born on February 24, 1966. She won a seat in the Philippine Senate, placing 9th, during the 2016 general elections. Previously, she served as Akbayan sectoral representative in the Philippine House of Representatives from 2004 to 2010.

Well-known entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz penned a message to those who find Sen. Risa Hontiveros annoying. Recently, the talent manager took to his Facebook account to share a post from Juan Luna Blog FB page. “GOOD NEWS! Thanks to Risa Hontiveros' efforts, Meralco has agreed to refund ₱19 billion to consumers,” the post reads. Along with the status post, Diaz reacted, “O ayan, ha?” Mama Ogs went on to share his frank message to the senator’s detractors.

In another news, Sen. Risa Hontiveros was seen holding a copy of Vice President Sara Duterte’s book. The Office of the Vice President sent the book to the senator titled “Isang Kaibigan.” ABS-CBN News shared photos of the book, one of which shows Hontiveros browsing through the book. It can be recalled that during the Senate hearing for the OVP budget, Hontiveros asked Duterte about the content of the book that’s allotted P10 million in the budget. The vice president then accused Hontiveros of politicizing the hearing.
