Veronica “Kitty” Duterte has taken to social media to share a heartfelt post featuring her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte.

On Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 16, Kitty posted a cozy photo of the former chief executive with his family.

According to the ex-presidential daughter, the lovely moment was captured hours before FPRRD was arrested on Tuesday, March 11.

“Hours before he was taken from us,” Kitty revealed.

Furthermore, she emotionally added, “We miss you, dada!”

It can be recalled that the International Criminal Court (ICC) held its pre-trial hearing last Friday, March 14, around 10:15 PM Philippine time.

Judge Iulia Antoanella Motoc of the International Criminal Court (ICC) set the next hearing of the case against former president Rodrigo Duterte on September 23, approximately 6 months from now.

In a video shared by ANC Digital on social media, Judge Motoc said that particular hearing will be about the “confirmation of charges.”

Judge Motoc made it clear during the pre-trial that the recently-concluded hearing is primarily to introduce the parties to the case and to answer three questions.

She also said that there will be no presentation or collection of evidence during pre-trial.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines. He left Malacañang on June 30. The newly inaugurated President of the Philippines is Bongbong Marcos who got 31 million votes in the May 2022 elections. The new Vice President of the Philippines is VP Sara Duterte, the daughter of the former president.

In a previous report, Duterte has arrived at the ICC Detention Center in Scheveningen, The Hague, Netherlands, early Thursday morning. Duterte's chartered flight, RP-C5219, landed at Rotterdam-The Hague Airport at 4:56 p.m. CET (11:56 p.m. Philippine time). The 79-year-old former leader, who governed from 2016 to 2022, was apprehended in Manila on Tuesday, marking a significant development in the ICC’s investigation into alleged crimes against humanity during his administration’s anti-drug campaign.

Meanwhile, the police officer who was allegedly struck in the head by former President Rodrigo Duterte's partner, Honeylet Avanceña, will no long file a complaint against the latter. As per ABS-CBN News, Philippine National Police Spokesperson (PNP) Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo shared the update in a phone interview on Friday. Fajardo likewise revealed that the cop was in stable condition. It can be recalled that on Thursday, the PNP released photos of the cop who sustained a large lump after supposedly being hit with a cellphone by Avanceña.
