Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao's 22-year-old son, Michael, has recently filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for councilor of General Santos City.

The 22-year-old son of the Filipino boxing legend will be running under the People's Champ Movement which is a local political party.

In an interview with GMA Regional TV's One Mindanao, Michael was asked about the advice that his father gave to him, prompting Michael to respond.

According to Michael, he has his own goals and that he was actually inspired by his dad regarding his involvement in the world of politics and public office.

"It is my decision naman, I have my own goals here ... I was inspired by my dad to be involved in politics," the 22-year-old son of Jinkee and Manny said.

Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he calls his best friend. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel.

As previously reported by KAMI, Manny Pacquiao has mourned the passing of Chino Trinidad. On his Facebook page, Manny expressed his sympathies for Chino, who recently passed away. According to Manny, Chino is someone who was more than just a great journalist. Chino, a sports journalist, passed away after succumbing to a heart attack on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Manny Pacquaio shared a series of photos on his Instagram feed. These show glimpses of the graduation ceremony of his daughter, Mary Pacquiao, from high school. Of course, he also shared a photo of Mary along with their family. Furthermore, the former senator captioned his post with, "Congratulations @mpacquiaoo. We are so proud of you."
