Senator Robin Padilla showed his thoughtfulness by visiting police corporal Roger Agustin at the hospital.
Agustin was hospitalized after getting stabbed by one of the three hostage-takers who were later killed during an escape attempt in Camp Crame, Quezon City last Sunday.
On his Facebook page, Padilla uploaded photos of his visit to Agustin, who is still recovering from his injuries. Padilla seemed to be emotional while giving words of encouragement and giving a salute to the policeman.
According to Padilla, he is grateful for the bravery and public service of Agustin, who he called a true hero.

“Police Corporal Roger Agustin, tunay ka pong maituturing na bayani. Maraming salamat sa iyong katapangan at hindi matatawarang serbisyo sa ating bayan. Saludo po ako sa iyo,” Padilla stated.
Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin ran for senator in the 2022 Election. He won the race and was number one in the amount of votes received among all candidates.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
