She received tons of birthday greetings, including a video greeting from Vice President Leni Robredo.
The Asia’s Songbird took to social media to share with her followers the said video.
“Hi Regine, happy happy birthday. Magkasunod pala ‘yung birthday natin,” said the presidential aspirant, who will turn 57 tomorrow, April 23.

In the heartwarming message, she also thanked Regine and Ogie Alcasid for supporting her presidential bid.
“I just want to thank you for the support that you and Ogie have been giving. Not just me, but ang pagpapakita all these years ng inyong pagmamahal sa bayan natin. Napakahalaga ng suporta mo kasi alam ko na hindi niyo ito binibigay kung kani-kanino lang, kung saan-saan lang. The mere fact that you are supporting us gives us strength na we are on the right track. Alam namin kung gaanong ka-valuable ito.”
VP Leni likewise congratulated Regine on her well-deserved success.
“Congratulations sa lahat ng na-achieve mo. Alam ko na you deserve all the success that you have been getting. Sinubaybayan ko din 'yung buhay mo from many years back. And please know na marami kang tao na hindi lang napapasaya pero nai-inspire. Maraming salamat for the inspiration, maraming salamat for the love. Enjoy your birthday. Kita-kita tayo soon.”

Regine Velasquez is a famous singer, host, and actress in the Philippines. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
Regine has revealed that she, together with her husband, Ogie Alcasid, will be joining the NCR grand rally of VP Leni Robredo on April 23. This is the birthday of VP Leni, and rallies, as well as Kakampink gatherings were organized by volunteers in different areas of the country.
Earlier, Regine has declared her full support for VP Leni, who is running for president. The Asia’s Songbird also expressed her support for Leni’s running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan. She wants Leni and Kiko to lead the country because she believes that they will brighten the lives of the Filipino people. Singer-host Ogie Alcasid, Regine’s husband, is also a vocal supporter of the Vice President.
