Moments after the pageant’s final screening on April 22, Herlene described her feelings about being among the list of the official candidates.
“Ohmygad nung tinawag ang #67 na speechless po ako at wala parin akong tigil sa kaka-iyak dto sa backstage. Thank you lord for hearing & answering my Prayers!”
“Mga ka-Hiponatics! Napili po ako as one of the Official Candidate ng Binibining Pilipinas 2022. Huwag nyo po ako iwan sa aking journey ah.”

She then went on to pen her message to all her supporters.
“Mahal na mahal ko kayo mga KaSquammy, KaBudol at Kahipon, Kainutz, KaFreshness, Sana mahalin nyo rin ako tulad ng pag aalaga sa akin ng aking Manager @sirwil75 at nag bigay ng tiwala at opportunidad nakikita nya para sa aking Karera. ipagtanggol nyo ako pag may mag bash sa akin ah. Mahalin nyo ako bilang Hipon nakilala nyo sa Wowowin as TV host ah. ipinapangako ko rin na inding indi ako mag babago at inding indi po lalaki ang aking ulo.”
She likewise thanked her loved ones and persons who have roles in her ongoing pageant journey.

Herlene Nicole Budol a.k.a. "Hipon" is a comedian, actress, and a host in Wowowin. Hipon gained popularity when she joined Willie of Fortune. Willie Revillame decided then to make her a regular host of the show.
In a previous report by KAMI, Vice Ganda was featured on Herlene's Instagram stories. In an Instagram post, the Kapuso actress thanked the Unkabogable Star. She also uploaded a photo of Vice, who is beaming from ear to ear, taken during their video call. The two well-known celebrities appear to have had a good time chatting with one another.
Herlene also showed off one of the fruits of her hard work in a new vlog episode. The hilarious but emotional vlog episode shows Herlene buying her first car. She purchased her first car at the Commonwealth branch of Toyota.
