VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters, namely, Aika, Patricia, and Jillian. VP Leni is currently running for the highest office of the land in the May 2022 national elections.
The eldest daughter of VP Leni Robredo has received a lot of support from celebrities and notable personalities amid the misogynistic attacks against her. Some of those who took to social media and gave support to Aika were Agot Isidro, Ted Te, Jake Ejercito and Nica del Rosario. Aika herself did not let the attacks weigh her down but instead encouraged everyone to just keep on moving and to stay focused. Some of the supporters of VP Leni also took to their respective accounts to push back against the reported attacks.
Meanwhile, Aika took to Twitter and retweeted the post of Jake Ejercito. She encouraged everyone to just keep on moving and to stay focused. Jake posted photos of his own house-to-house campaign where he captioned it with his expression of support for Aika. "Stand with Aika. Do it like Aika," said Jake.
