Robin Padilla received a lot of support from his fans after declaring that he will run for senator in the 2022 Election.
KAMI learned that on Instagram, Robin’s wife Mariel Padilla also expressed her full support for her husband’s senatorial bid.

The actress-host promised her husband that she will always support him. Aside from posting a sweet photo of them together, Mariel also wrote the hashtag #MySenator.
“Got your back always. @robinhoodpadilla #MySenator,” Mariel wrote on Instagram.

In the comments section of Mariel’s post, Robin replied to his wife by calling her “my babe.”
The couple’s celebrity friend, Melai Cantiveros, also reacted positively to Mariel’s post as she posted several heart emoticons.
Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin said in an interview with Ogie Diaz that Kylie split from Aljur due to the latter getting involved with a third party. Robin will run for senator in the 2022 Election.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
Her husband Robin also made the news months ago after his sibling BB Gandanghari accused him of being a neglectful brother and a hypocrite. Robin Padilla responded to BB by expressing his love for his sibling. Netizens praised Robin for not firing back against his sibling.
