President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, also known as Rody, Tatay Digong, and PRRD, is the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines. He was born on March 28, 1945, to former Davao Governor Vicente Gonzales Duterte and Soledad Roa-Duterte, a Filipina teacher and activist. President Duterte rose to power after he was appointed as Officer-In-Charge of Davao City on May 2, 1986, by President Cory Aquino.

In a previous report by KAMI, Sen. Bong Go, Duterte's long-time aide, and companion stunned everyone when he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Vice President. They went to the Harbor Garden Tent earlier to file the Certificate of Candidacy of what many assumed would be President Duterte. The question on the minds of everyone now is who would the Senator Go be supporting for President.

He also expressed his own opinion on his daughter Sara Duterte's bid for vice president. The President claims that his daughter's decision to run for vice president was made mutually by Bongbong Marcos and his daughter. He went on to say that he was wondering why she ran for vice president while she was actually leading the surveys.
