According to a report by John Consulta on "24 Oras Weekend" on Saturday, NBI personnel from the Violence Against Women and Children Division (VAWCD) served a digital warrant at the suspect's residence. Investigators subsequently examined her cellphone, where they discovered s*xually explicit images involving her four-year-old child and other minors.
NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag explained the seriousness of the allegations, particularly because the person accused of distributing the materials was the children's own mother.
“We have information na itong taong ito, pati mga litrato at video ng kaniyang anak ay binibenta sa online para gamiting materials para sa mga pedophiles. Kaya ito nakatakot dahil mismo magulang siya, sa sariling mga anak ay kaniyang ibinibenta,” he said.

The authorities also presented some of the alleged materials to the suspect's husband as part of the investigation.
According to the NBI, the woman had allegedly been careful in carrying out the online activities since 2017, making it difficult for authorities to identify and locate her.
However, investigators made significant progress in 2026 after receiving additional information from several international counterparts. Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, and the United States reportedly provided technical details that helped authorities establish the suspect's identity and location.
NBI VAWCD chief Atty. Cath Nolasco discussed how the information contributed to the breakthrough.
“Nagbigay sila ng additional technical information referring to the same subject. Binuo lahat ng information na nag-gather so na-identify ngayon ang subject natin. Hindi lang ang kaniyang mismong identity, ngunit pati na rin ang kaniyang location,” she said.
The suspect has yet to issue her statement regarding the allegations. She is now facing multiple charges that do not allow bail, while authorities have taken steps to ensure the safety of her children.
