In other report, a young Filipino scholar, Eion Nikolai Chua, 22, has brought pride to his home country with his remarkable academic achievement at Harvard University. Chua recently graduated from the prestigious Ivy League institution with Magna Cúm Laude honors, distinguishing himself further by simultaneously completing a demanding double degree — a Bachelor’s in Economics and a concurrent Master’s in Chemistry (Chemical Biology) – all within an accelerated timeframe of just four years.

Meanwhile, at 27, Daniel Villamor Quisa-ot of Bukidnon has turned a painful chapter of his life into a remarkable story of resilience and faith. Once a Department of Science and Technology scholar, Dean’s Lister, and quiz champion, his academic path was cut short when he was convicted of a crime and sent to prison. But Daniel did not let incarceration define him. Against all odds, he completed his degree in Electrical Engineering while behind bars and later went on to pass four board examinations of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
