Two brothers were injured after they were allegedly stabbed during a dance event in Osamis City, Misamis Occidental.

The incident was featured in a report by Unang Balita, which showed the aftermath of the violent encounter that left both victims wounded. A video that later circulated online captured one of the brothers covered in blood while a knife remained lodged in his back.

According to authorities, the trouble reportedly started during the dance event when the suspect accidentally bumped into one of the victims while they were on the dance floor.

Police said the situation quickly escalated after the brother of the man who was bumped allegedly grabbed the suspect by the neck.

The confrontation soon turned violent and eventually led to the stabbing of the two brothers.

Based on the report, one of the victims suffered multiple injuries and was seen receiving assistance after the incident. His brother, meanwhile, sustained three stab wounds during the altercation.

The disturbing video of the aftermath drew attention online as viewers expressed concern over the condition of the victims. Many were also shocked by how a simple misunderstanding during a public event allegedly ended in violence.

Authorities immediately investigated to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and gather statements from those involved.

Police later revealed that the suspect did not evade authorities for long. According to investigators, the man's own parents surrendered him to law enforcement following the stabbing.

As of the report, both brothers were already in stable condition and recovering from their injuries.

Meanwhile, neither the victims nor the suspect gave any public statement regarding the incident.
