Instead of risking a drunk-driving incident, the three decided to push their car along the road, believing it was a safer and lawful alternative.

One of them positioned himself by the driver’s door to steer the vehicle, while the other two stayed behind the car to push.
The group managed to move the vehicle for nearly 500 meters, eventually reaching a nearby repair shop.
The slow-moving car, guided only by manpower, took up a large portion of the road during the process. The entire incident was recorded by CCTV cameras in the area.
When the footage circulated online, many netizens praised the friends for their decision to avoid driving under the influence.
Several commenters said the act showed responsibility and awareness of traffic safety, especially in a country with strict drunk-driving laws.
Despite the positive public reaction, local police still issued a fine. Authorities explained that while the friends successfully avoided a drunk-driving charge, they violated Article 31 of China’s Road Traffic Safety Law.
This provision prohibits the use of public roads for non-traffic activities without proper authorization.
Police also noted that the slow-moving vehicle posed a potential safety risk to other road users. Although their intention was to follow the law, officials stressed that public roads must remain clear to prevent accidents and congestion.
In an earlier local report by KAMI, a family of three was brutally shot and killed inside their own store in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. CCTV footage reportedly showed three men entering the shop, pulling down the roll-up door, and then shooting all the family members until they died. Before fleeing the scene, one of the suspects was also seen taking a bag and a cellphone belonging to the victims. According to TV5 Frontline Pilipinas correspondent Gary De Leon, the family had allegedly been receiving threats after lending ₱1 million to a resident of their barangay, who was said to have used the money for a business venture.
In another local story that went viral, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. Based on a report by EJ Gomez on Unang Balita, the 38-year-old suspect carried out the attack inside the school’s faculty room. Police said the campus had a security guard on duty, but because the suspect was a familiar figure, he was able to enter and leave the premises without difficulty. The suspect claimed that he went to the school to talk to his wife and settle their issues, but the discussion allegedly escalated into a heated argument that ended in violence.
