According to a report aired by GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon on Tuesday, the remains of the 31-year-old victim were found early Saturday morning along Gamu-Roxas Road in Barangay Linglingay.
The body was reportedly noticed by a passerby who immediately alerted authorities after seeing the plastic-wrapped figure at the side of the road.
Police responded to the report and confirmed the identity of the victim, although initial accounts did not specify the cause of her death.

Investigators said further examination and evidence gathering are underway to determine what led to the woman’s killing.
During the investigation, authorities learned that the victim had informed her husband on Friday that she was going out but never returned home.
Her sudden disappearance, followed by the grim discovery the next day, has added urgency to the case and intensified police efforts to trace her last known movements.
To ensure a thorough investigation, law enforcement officials formed a special investigation task force dedicated solely to the case.
The team is tasked with reviewing leads, gathering witness accounts, and coordinating forensic examinations that could help establish both the motive and the suspect behind the crime.
Police also confirmed that a person of interest has already been identified.
However, they declined to disclose further details, citing the need to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation and avoid compromising potential developments.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family has publicly appealed for justice, hoping authorities can quickly resolve the case and hold those responsible accountable.
As the investigation continues, local residents remain on edge, with many calling for increased vigilance and stronger security measures in the area.
In a previous KAMI report, the Bureau of Customs was reported to be reviewing the importation of around 40 luxury vehicles allegedly linked to the family of Sarah Discaya. The probe reportedly began after an interview featuring the family’s high-end car collection went viral online. Authorities are examining import records and declared consignees to check for possible violations of customs rules. Discaya has also been associated with contractors tied to flood control projects currently under Senate scrutiny. Separately, reports confirmed the death of former Department of Public Works and Highways undersecretary Catalina Cabral.
Meanwhile, veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez-Roxas drew attention on social media after posting a photo from a recent Disneyland visit. She was seen posing in front of a palace-inspired attraction, which quickly caught the eye of netizens. Her caption opening with “My P10 Million Palace” sparked online discussion, with many interpreting it as a playful reference to past allegations raised by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.
