Two men were arrested in Quezon City after they refused to stop fighting in the street.

CCTV showed a commotion between a motorcycle rider and a man on a bicycle along Quirino Highway on Wednesday.

Later events were not captured on video, but the two ended up wrestling on the road. Traffic enforcers tried to stop them, but both men kept fighting, leading to their arrest.

Police found that the clash came from a drug deal that did not go as planned.

The man on the bicycle was said to be the drug seller, while the motorcycle rider was his buyer.

The seller opened the payment after the buyer left and discovered that the money was fake. It was only newspaper inside the bundle.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Von Alejandrino explained that the seller met the buyer in a nearby barangay and agreed on a price.

But the seller got angry after seeing the fake payment.

Authorities recovered 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.

They also found the newspaper pieces that were supposed to be P15,000 in cash.

Police said both men were street-level drug players and had prior records.

One suspect claimed he did not know he was carrying shabu and said he only agreed to hand it over because he was promised P500.

The other suspect also insisted he did not know the payment he received was just newspaper.

Both now face charges of alarm and scandal, disobedience, and resisting arrest.

The 24-year-old suspect also faces an added complaint under the Comprehensive Dangerous Dr*gs Act.
