A riding-in-tandem in the Philippines refers to two people riding a motorcycle together while carrying out a crime, usually a shooting, robbery, or other violent act.

One person drives the motorcycle while the other acts as the gunman or main attacker.

Criminals often use motorcycles because they can move fast, escape crowded areas easily, and avoid getting identified.

Many cases caught on CCTV involve suspects wearing helmets or masks, making it hard for witnesses to recognize them.

Police usually respond by checking nearby CCTV footage, tracing motorcycle registrations, and setting up checkpoints to track suspects involved in these incidents.

In the Philippines, a murder case is solved through a police investigation.

Officers examine the crime scene, gather evidence such as bullets, fingerprints, and CCTV footage, and talk to witnesses to understand what happened. Investigators also study the motive, the suspect’s movements, and other possible leads.

Once enough evidence is gathered, the suspect is arrested, and the case is filed with the prosecutor’s office.

The prosecutor reviews the evidence to see if there is enough basis to move forward.

In a report by Gary De Leon of TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the family started getting threats after lending P1-M to one of the residents of their barangay; allegedly using the money for business.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
