A buy-bust operation in Quezon City took a shocking turn when police found out that the supposed P68-million shabu was only noodles and stones.

Police Brigadier General Elmer Ragay of PDEG said the items tested negative for illegal substance.
He explained that the packs looked like shabu at first, but inside were noodles and pebbles.
He added that the suspects planned to scam their contact, who turned out to be undercover police.
Initial reports claimed that ten kilos of suspected shabu were seized from a box during the operation. Later checks showed that the illegal substance were fake.

The plan of the four suspects to fool their buyers led to a shootout.
Three suspects died in the encounter. One of them was known as Alias Dan, believed to be the leader of the group.
Another suspect escaped and is still being tracked down.
Police are also working to confirm the identity of one of the dead suspects, who may be linked to another crime group.
A PDEG member and an informant were injured during the exchange of gunfire. Investigators continue to review the case and search for the remaining suspect.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
