Despite being physically unharmed, Fe and Bengie are now grappling with the unimaginable pain of losing their two daughters in such a sudden and tragic manner.

Relatives and neighbors have extended their condolences and support to the grieving family, helping them cope with the aftermath of the disaster.

Authorities have also assured assistance as residents in the province continue to reel from the destruction brought by Typhoon Opong.

For the Manlapas family, however, the storm left more than damaged homes and broken structures—it left an irreplaceable void.
