Aircon technician, arrested in Rizal for 13 counts of child abuse

• An aircon technician was arrested in Rizal after facing 13 counts of child abuse

Police in Rizal arrested an aircon technician wanted for 13 counts of child abuse.

Reports from the Rizal Police Provincial Office confirmed the operation led by the Jala-Jala Municipal Police Station.

Alias JAY R, 41, a resident of Brgy. Sipsipin, Jala-Jala, Rizal, was arrested on Monday, September 15, around 8:30 a.m. He was also tagged as the No. 1 Most Wanted Person in the province.

The arrest was carried out through a Warrant of Arrest for 13 violations of Republic Act 7610, also known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

Each complaint filed against him carries a recommended bail of ₱200,000.

Police confirmed that the suspect is temporarily detained at Jala-Jala custodial facility.

Authorities are now processing legal documents for further court action.

Dakong 8:30 ng umaga, matagumpay na naaresto si Alyas Jay R, male, 41 years old, single, aircon technician sa Brgy. Sipsipin, Jala-jala, Rizal.

Ang pag-aresto ay isinagawa dahil sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest para sa 13 na kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 7610, o ang “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act,” na may piyansang Php200,000.00 bawat kaso

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room.
