As of this writing, the agency has yet to address the backlash.
Jessy Mendiola is a Filipino actress, model, and TV personality born in Dubai to a Filipino mother and a Lebanese father. In showbiz, she rose to fame in lead roles on hit series such as Sabel, Budoy, Paraiso, and the Philippine adaptation of Maria Mercedes. After a brief hiatus, she returned to ABS‑CBN in 2024 to star in an upcoming series alongside Gerald Anderson. Off‑screen, she is married to host-actor Luis Manzano and they share a beautiful daughter, Isabella Rose. Beyond her acting career in showbiz, Jessy has been open and candid about her journey through motherhood.
In a previous report by KAMI, Jessy Mendiola recently shared heartfelt insights into her husband Luis Manzano’s transformative journey into fatherhood, expressing immense pride in his maturity and unwavering commitment as a family provider. Jessy’s candid remarks, made during an interview with entertainment personality Ogie Diaz, highlighted the profound shifts in Luis’ priorities since becoming a husband and, more notably, a father to their daughter, Rosie. The actress and celebrity mom articulated that Luis, a seasoned television host and actor, has undergone a significant personal evolution. Before starting a family, his focus was primarily on his individual career and needs. However, the responsibilities of marriage and parenthood, particularly since Rosie’s birth in December 2022, have reshaped his outlook.
In another report, Jessy Mendiola took to social media to express her deep gratitude and bid farewell to the iconic ABS-CBN Millennium Transmitter, which is set to be demolished following the network’s property sale in Quezon City. Jessy, who has been a part of the Kapamilya network for over a decade, posted a reflective photo of herself gazing up at the transmitter—a longtime symbol of the company’s broadcasting legacy. Alongside the image, she penned a heartfelt message that resonated with fans and former colleagues.
