A 23-year-old male student sustained minor injuries after the car he was driving plunged down a 30-foot ravine in Purok 4, Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City on the afternoon of July 18.

According to the initial investigation by the Baguio City Police Office, the incident occurred when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
The car veered off the road and continued its descent down the cliffside.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and assisted the driver, who miraculously survived the fall with only minor injuries.

He was immediately given first aid and taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities said the vehicle was heavily damaged due to the impact but did not pose a risk of explosion or fire.
