In response, the accused party’s camp has maintained that the allegations lack any factual basis.

Representatives for the accusesd released a statement reaffirming their confidence in the ongoing investigations and dismissed Totoy’s claims as unfounded.

They further revealed plans to file a formal complaint affidavit later today, Thursday, at the Mandaluyong City Prosecutor’s Office—not only against Totoy but also naming an additional individual believed to be involved in spreading the accusations.

"Totoy," one of the six security guards at Manila Arena, also confessed in an interview with Emil Sumangil of GMA 7's '24 Oras,' that the victims were strangled to death. He also revealed that not only the missing sabungeros were buried there, but allegedly, also some drug lords, according to Totoy. Totoy wanted to be a state witness to help the families of the victims in seeking justice.

Prior to this news, an individual identified as “Totoy,” who is accused of the kidnapping of the missing “sabungeros,” has reportedly confessed that the victims are dead and has offered to expose the alleged mastermind. “Totoy” claims the missing sabungeros were killed by strangling them with tie wire. “Totoy” asserts that the number of individuals killed in connection to cockfighting could be close to 100, far exceeding the officially recognized 34 missing sabungeros. Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla will evaluate “Totoy’s” statements, while the PNP and NBI have expressed readiness to provide witness protection as he prepares to submit a sworn affidavit.
