The body of the victim was found inside her locked bedroom on June 17.

Dr. Owen Lebaquin, medico-legal officer, said the autopsy confirmed s&xual assault, along with abrasions on the victim’s arms and legs.

He also noted four hematomas on her head, consistent with blood vessel injuries.

Authorities suspect the perpetrator entered the room through a window, as the door was locked.

From seven persons of interest, the suspect eventually turned himself in, saying guilt drove him to confess.

The suspect admitted sneaking in through the window and covering the victim’s mouth.

When she resisted, he said they fell off the bed, causing her head to hit the concrete floor.

“Nakita umano niyang may lumabas na dugo sa ilong ng biktima kaya inayos niya ito sa pagkakahiga sa unan at saka umalis,” the report said.

The suspect denied r@ping the victim and claimed he didn’t remove her clothing.

He also admitted being intoxicated during the incident. Police, however, dismissed his claim.

“Hindi kami naniniwala... Para ano? Para lang manggulat?” said Police Lt. Niel Eric Goniabo.

The suspect will be charged with r@pe with h&micide.
