He was interviewed exclusively by News5 at his home in Bulacan, where he struggled to describe the pain he experienced, managing to utter only a few words.

According to his brother, Ronnie Macapal, Mark had escaped from their home, a behavior he occasionally displays due to his condition.

Ronnie explained that Mark is sensitive to loud noises, which may have triggered the incident.

He is afraid of noise, which was why when he heard a loud sound coming from a passenger’s cellphone, he bit the person on the shoulder.

This reaction, he explained, led to other passengers ganging up on Mark and assaulting him.

“Kung nasaktan man sila, dapat ano, hindi naman makatarungan ng ginawa nila,” Ronnie said, referring to the retaliation of the passengers.

He shared that Mark returned home alone and in a weakened state.

“Umuwi po siyang mag-isa eh. Di po naming alam kung paano siya nakauwi, siguro nanghihina na siya. Kinabukasan pa ho siya nakauwi,” Ronnie added.
“Magrereklamo po talaga kami kasi hindi na po makatarungan yung ginawa nila,” he stated firmly, vowing to seek justice for his brother.
