He was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention. Rogelio was confined for more than a week.
In a report by Jessica Soho in GMA 7's 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,' the doctor said that he must undergo surgery, because his X-ray result showed something blocking his intestines.
"Parang nagdikit-dikit 'yung intestine niya, hindi makalusot 'yung kinain," said Dr. Stephen Cantay, General Surgeon.
Dr. Cantay also added that they discovered Rogelio underwent another operation in the past, which caused complications called post-operative adhesions.
After a couple of more days, Rogelio started getting weaker and weaker and eventually passed away.
The KMJS team also managed to contact the follower who challenged Rogelio who was apologetic to what he requested and said it was just a joke.
He promised to somehow give financial aid.
