Domingo’s scathing response, shared on her social media platform, underscored her zero-tolerance policy for such disrespectful behavior and resonated widely with online users.
The incident unfolded recently when Domingo received an unsolicited direct message containing the vulgar query, “PWEDE MAGPA-BJ?” (Can I ask for a bl*wj*b?). Instead of ignoring the offensive remark, Domingo chose to expose the message, sharing screenshots on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

“These kinds of things should never be normalized in any setting — online or offline,” Domingo wrote in her post, emphasizing the universal unacceptability of the lewd question.
She then directly challenged the sender’s moral compass, asking, “Wala ho ba kayong nanay, asawa, anak or kapatid na babae for you not to realize how disrespectful & crude this is?” (Don't you have a mother, wife, daughter, or sister for you not to realize how disrespectful & crude this is?)
Her response highlighted the broader societal implications of normalizing such behavior and appealed to the harasser’s sense of familial respect.
Domingo further articulated her stance against silence in the face of harassment, stating, “May we never tolerate such behavior. Silence is complicity.”
This powerful statement served as a call to action for her followers and the wider online community, urging them not to passively allow such derogatory remarks to persist.
In a subsequent update, Domingo revealed additional information regarding the alleged perpetrator. “UPDATE: I was told the photo of the elderly guy on his IG grid is an AI-generated photo,” she posted, indicating that the profile image used by the netizen might have been fabricated.
However, she quickly dismissed the relevance of this detail to the core issue of the harassment. “But regardless of age, ang bastos ay bastos,” she firmly concluded in another X post, reinforcing that the offensive nature of the remark remains unchanged regardless of the harasser’s true identity or perceived age.
The incident underscores the pervasive issue of online s3xual harassment, which many public figures, particularly women, frequently encounter.
Kat Domingo, known for her professionalism and assertive reporting, has previously used her platform to advocate for various social issues.
Her decisive action against this particular netizen serves as a strong message that online spaces, while offering anonymity, are not exempt from standards of decency and respect.
As of current reports, Domingo has not publicly stated whether she intends to pursue legal action against the netizen.
However, her public stance has garnered significant support from netizens and advocates against online abuse, sparking discussions on accountability in digital interactions and the continuous need for a safer online environment for everyone.
News, photos, or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, this could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable.
