In the Philippines, a CENOMAR, or Certificate of No Marriage Record, is an official document issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that proves a person has no record of marriage.
It certifies that an individual is single, has never been married, or is legally free to marry.
This document is often required for various purposes such as marriage applications, both locally and abroad, as well as for fiancé(e) or spousal visa applications.
It is also commonly needed for employment, especially for jobs overseas, and in legal proceedings that require proof of civil status.
The CENOMAR serves as a reliable way to verify someone’s marital history.
