Cynthia Masongsong, the mother of Malia Kates Yuchen Masongsong, was in tears during an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News.
It can be remembered that Malia was the 4-year-old girl who lost her life after an SUV suddenly accelerated in front of NAIA Terminal 1's departure area.
In the heartbreaking interview, Cynthia shared how painful it is to see the man responsible for her daughter's death.
Toward the end of the interview, she firmly stated that they will continue to fight until the end to seek justice for their daughter's passing.

"Nasasaktan lang ako na makita siya. Kasi kung hindi dahil sa kanya, andito pa sana 'yung anak ko. Hindi sana ako ganito. Buo sana 'yung pamilya naming," Cynthia said while crying. "Mahal na mahal ko 'yung anak ko. Alagang-alaga ko 'yung anak ko. Sa isang iglap, biglang, ganun. Tapos ganun lang 'yung mangyayari."
"Hindi ko matatanggap. Lalaban kami hanggang dulo. Ipaglalaban ko 'yung anak ko. Ipaglalaban naming 'yung anak ko hanggang dulo. Lalaban kami," the grieving mother of Malia concluded.

In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' he and other family members went to a Pasay funeral facility where the initial processing of the deceased victims was made. The OFW father of the girl victim personally took his daughter's remains and will be bringing them to Lipa City, Batangas. Additionally, the other deceased victim in the tragic incident, a 28-year-old male, was also taken by his family and brought to Hagonoy, Bulacan.
Additionally, the Land Transportation Office has already taken action on the driver of the SUV that rammed people in NAIA Terminal 1. On their Facebook page, the agency said they put the driver's license on preventive suspension for 90 days while investigations are still ongoing. It can be recalled that the SUV suddenly accelerated, resulting in 2 casualties and a couple of people injured. An SCO has already been issued against the registered owner of the SUV and the driver involved in the tragic incident.
