A man sustained injuries to his forehead and back after being attacked with a screwdriver in what authorities described as a crime fueled by jealousy. The incident took place in Malabon and was reported on Frontline Pilipinas Weekend.

According to the report, the victim was simply sitting by the roadside when the suspect suddenly approached and began stabbing him without warning.
Shocked and injured, the victim was quickly given medical attention after the unprovoked assault.
Police later arrested the suspect, who reportedly admitted that jealousy was the primary motive behind the violent act.

The suspect believed that his wife had been in a long-standing romantic relationship with the victim.
In an interview conducted while he was behind bars, the suspect claimed that he had seen his wife and the victim together prior to the attack.
“Ginagawa nila akong tanga,” he said, expressing deep resentment and humiliation over the situation.
He also said that since the incident, his wife has not shown her face to him.
Authorities are now preparing appropriate charges against the suspect while the victim recovers from his injuries.
