A minivan and a dump truck figured in a collision in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Sur.
The impact left the front portion of the minivan completely crushed.
People living nearby worked together to force open the minivan and rescue those trapped inside.
Based on a report from the Bangsamoro Regional Police, two senior citizen passengers of the minivan were declared dead on arrival.

In a report by GMA 7's '24 Oras Weekend,' the driver of the minivan allegedly fell asleep. It resulted in their vehicle to swerve to the opposite lane where the dump truck was.
