In a report by MGA 7's '24 Oras Weekend,' the front part of the involved trucks were all smashed. The incident caused unexpected heavy traffic in the area.

Meanwhile, investigations about the incident are still ongoing.

In the Philippines, if multiple vehicles got into a scramble resulting in casualties and injuries, the driver who caused the chain of events will most likely be held at fault.

The driver who committed the first violation, such as overspeeding, reckless driving, or failing to maintain brakes, is usually considered the primary party responsible.

Traffic investigators from the police or the Land Transportation Office (LTO) will conduct an investigation, which includes eyewitness accounts, CCTV footage, and skid marks, to determine who triggered the accident.

If it is proven that a driver was negligent—like being distracted, drunk, or overtaking improperly—they may face criminal charges such as reckless imprudence resulting in hom!cide or physical injuries.

The responsible driver can also face civil liability, meaning they may be required to pay for damages, hospital bills, or indemnity for death.

Each case still depends on available evidence and official findings, but the first point of impact and the sequence of collisions play a crucial role in identifying who is at fault.

In a previous report by KAMI, a family of three was mercilessly shot and killed inside their store in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. Caught by CCTV, three men entered their store, closed the roll up door, and shot the entire family to death. Before fleeing, one of the suspect even grabbed a bag and mobile phone from the suspects. In a report by Gary De Leon of TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the family started getting threats after lending P1-M to one of the residents of their barangay; allegedly using the money for business.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
