Two men, a father and son riding together on a motorcycle, died after crashing into the rear of a trailer truck along Delpan Bridge in Manila just past 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to initial reports from the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Manila Police District, the accident occurred while the truck was queued to enter the port.
The truck's helper said they were stationary when a loud crash was suddenly heard from the back of the vehicle.
“Sa lakas ng impact, na-uga aniya ang kanilang truck,” he recalled. Upon checking, they found the two victims lifeless on the ground.

Based on the identification found on the victims, both were residents of Baseco Compound. One of them was confirmed to be an employee of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
When relatives arrived at the scene, it was only then confirmed that the two victims were father and son.
According to the family, the two had been drinking earlier that night and decided to go out together.
By around 3:00 a.m., personnel from a funeral home arrived to retrieve the bodies.
The scene left relatives and bystanders in shock and mourning.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was brought to the hospital to undergo medical treatment.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the crash, particularly the condition of the victims at the time of the accident.

An SCO has already been issued against the registered owner of the SUV and the driver involved in the tragic incident.
Additionally, the Overseas Filipino Worker, father of the 5-year-old girl victim in the NAIA Terminal 1 incident yesterday, has no longer proceeded to leave the country. In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' he and other family members went to a Pasay funeral facility where the initial processing of the deceased victims was made. The OFW father of the girl victim personally took his daughter's remains and will be bringing them to Lipa City, Batangas.
