Because of this, all bus drivers and conductors of the 'Pangasinan Solid North' bus company must undergo a drug test as well.
A total of 200 buses of the company have been suspended, resulting in the LTFRB giving 200 buses from other bus companies going north a special permit to operate, especially in the upcoming 2025 NLE.
Since people now feel unsafe on the road, the DOTr will be implementing a mandatory drug test for all public utility vehicle drivers every 3 months.
This week, a random drug test will be implemented for drivers of buses and trucks.
