Ramon Ang vowed to cover the medical expenses of the injured victims in the NAIA Terminal 1 incident today.

The billionaire businessman also committed to providing financial assistance to the families of those who lost their lives.

As the President of New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), Ang personally went straight to the scene shortly after the incident happened.

He was seen assessing the situation at the terminal alongside DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, the Philippine Red Cross, and other concerned government agencies.

On NAIA's Facebook post they wrote:

"New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) President Ramon S. Ang has committed to providing immediate assistance to the victims of the vehicular accident that occurred earlier today at the departure level of NAIA Terminal 1.
Ang said he will personally shoulder the medical expenses of the four individuals who were injured and provide financial assistance to the families of the two who died in the incident."

From the same post, Ang also issued his statement:

“This is a very tragic incident. Our priority now is to make sure the victims and their families receive the support and care they need,” Ang said.

Ramon See Ang, also known as RSA, is a prominent Filipino businessman and engineer best known as the President and CEO of San Miguel Corporation (SMC), one of the largest and most diversified companies in the Philippines. He also heads Top Frontier Investment Holdings, the biggest shareholder of SMC. Starting his career in the automotive industry, Ang holds a mechanical engineering degree from Far Eastern University.

He joined SMC as Vice Chairman in 1999, became President in 2002, and took full control in 2012 after acquiring shares from Eduardo Cojuangco Jr. Under his leadership, SMC expanded into infrastructure, energy, and cement. He also chairs Eagle Cement Corporation and Cyber Bay Corporation. With an estimated net worth of $3.4 billion, he is among the country’s richest individuals. Ang has received multiple awards for his business achievements and is known for his philanthropic efforts in education, healthcare, and community development.

In a previous report by KAMI, two were killed as SUV crashed onto the walkway at the NAIA Terminal 1. Witnesses say the black SUV, breaching the railing near the entrance. Multiple ambulances and medical volunteers were immediately deployed to the scene. NAIA authorities and the PNP have secured the area and already started their inquiry into the cause of the crash.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school.
