A man's dead body was discovered tied to an electric post with a message placed above him.
The body was found in a remote area of Barangay Punay, Aloguinsan, Cebu.
Authorities said they were alerted by a concerned citizen who reported the body tied to the post.

A note was taped above the man’s body, stating, "Wag tularan, drug pusher ko (ako)."
The man was wearing black shorts, and a black cap was found next to his body. His face was also covered by a black shirt.
Police are now looking at the possibility that the man was killed somewhere and was later dumped in the said area of Barangay Punay.
The victim had wounds on different parts of his body, however, police had not yet determined whether those were stab wounds or gunshot wounds.
Burn marks were also found on the victim's body.
The victim was soon positively identified by members of his family. He was identified as "Robert," 24 years old, and a resident of Barangay North Poblacion, San Fernando, Cebu.
When Police Captain Blane Dunn Tabares, spokesperson of the Cebu Police Provincial Office, was asked if the victim had been tortured, he confirmed that it's indeed possible.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
