Police identified the victim as a 20-year-old female resident of Barangay Salomague Sur. The scene presented a disturbing picture, with the victim’s body bearing signs of violence.

According to Police Lieutenant John Zacarias, the operations officer of the Bugallon Police Station, the investigation is actively progressing.

He confirmed that the police have already identified individuals who are considered “persons of interest” in the case.

Zacarias stated, “We already have persons of interest that we are pursuing. Our investigators are conducting follow-up operations to pinpoint exactly who is responsible for this.”
